Tehran is prepared to restart atomic talks with the United States as long as it is treated with "respect" and "honor", Tehran's top diplomat has announced.

The Iranian diplomat declared solely negotiations worked, and revealed fresh requests had come from mediators to reopen talks with the Trump administration. He asserted Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to allow the global atomic watchdog to inspect attacked atomic facilities for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Course

Araghchi is walking a complex path since Iran does not want be seen to be proceeding from a position of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had emerged stronger in military terms and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its nuclear sites in June.

He was speaking at a strategic meeting in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "an absolute privilege to refine atomic fuel on home soil that it will never give up" – the key factor of the stalemate in the earlier negotiations.

Prior Negotiations Suddenly Concluded

The previous five rounds of talks between the United States and Iran were brought to an abrupt and bitter end on 12 June when Israel, with US support, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a fortnight-long engagement that ended with Donald Trump declaring the facilities had been eliminated. Following this, European countries used their privilege to reimpose UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a significant effect.

Ideal Resolution Suggested

Tehran representatives claimed they felt they had attained a "magic solution" to the uranium processing matter in earlier negotiations, when it was decided an Iran-based consortium with US participation could enrich uranium. The two nations would have been able to claim victory since home-based processing would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's atomic project was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been agreed in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could work inside Iran, but that was a reasonable assumption of the cooperative offer. Representatives claimed on multiple occasions they had achieved a deal with Trump's special envoy the American negotiator only for the arrangement to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Present Position

Tehran representatives said the partnership proposal was now withdrawn, but it seems highly likely the offer could be revived in some form if discussions resume.

The American leader recently claimed he had been receiving messages that Iran sought to resume discussions, but privately Iranian officials say they are not yet getting clear proposals from Washington either straightforwardly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as the Qatari government, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been charged of non-responsiveness in the wake of Washington's unmediated tactics, but Iran asserts negotiations is not part of a show.

Political Position

In his remarks to the forum, intended to paint the US as a controlling nation that misuses the idea of global regulations, Araghchi stated the 12-day war showed the clash could not be ended by combat operations. He stated the attacks commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an total Iran submission and ended with an absolute demand for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is convinced the initial Israeli attacks were executed with total Washington understanding and coordination, making trust difficult to restore.

Negotiations Continues the Ultimate Resolution

The foreign minister declared: "It was not Iran that had abandoned diplomacy; it was the United States and the European states that had always tried to enforce their desires during the negotiations. Negotiations can still be viable and stays the final solution to resolve disagreements, but its requirements, guidelines and tenets must be respected."

"In case they speak to the Iranian people with the language of respect and respect, they will obtain a reply in the identical language."

Repair and Rebuilding

In what is characterized by Tehran representatives as the battle of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was certain Iran's security strengths "have significantly improved than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been restored. We gained many lessons from this engagement; we have come to know our internal vulnerabilities and the weaknesses of the enemy."

He continued: "We effectively endured this conflict. Our enrichment knowledge, which they aimed to destroy, stays intact. The installations and machinery, if damaged, will be reconstructed; what is essential is the resolve of the nation of Iran and then the national cohesion that they sought to undermine, but failed to destroy. The citizens of Tehran have grown more resilient, more united, and more endorsing of the administration and the country in the face of this invasion."
